Minimum
requirements
  • B.Com with Accounting or relevant 3 year tertiary qualification.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Advance Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Able to work in a non-routine environment independently and as part of a team.
  • Proven costing and financial accounting competence, preferably in a manufacturing environment (2 to 3 years experience would be an added advantage as well as organisation awareness).
  • Drive for results, with energy and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and innovative.
  • Assume full responsibility for the accuracy and timeous submission of reports compiled.
  • Ability to manage time and work.
Key performance
  • Compile and check daily/ weekly/ monthly KPI and performance reports.
  • Mid-Month GL expenditure review and reporting.
  • Month end Journals preparation and review.
  • Analysis of GL expenditure accounts and compiling correcting journals.
  • Assisting the Management Accountant with compiling Capex applications.
  • Preparation of Contract Grower payments by extracting information from M-Tech and Excel reports.
  • Assistance with the preparation of Management Accounting reports for Farms Operation including variance investigations and analysis.
  • Extracting and compiling information for the preparation of Budgets and Forecast for Farms Operation.
  • Updating and maintain cycle costing on M-Tech farm management system.
  • Assist with all aspect of the Management Accountants functions.
  • Ad hoc projects and report writing.
