  • Financial accounting qualification (Degree or Diploma)
  • At least 5 year relevant accounting, management accounting experience (FMCG environment will be preferred)
  • Strong MS Office experience, particularly excellent Excel skills
  • Prior working knowledge of Pastel

Key performance Prepare the monthly management reportsPerform month end for Accounts Payable, VAT, Fixed Assets, Payroll and General Ledger in the finance systemPosting of all standard journalsAnalysis of gross profits to ensure accuracyAnalysis of expenses to ensure accuracy and completenessReviewing and sign off of supplier, bank and sales reconciliationsFollowing up and resolving queries on the accountsReview and sign off monthly payrollsMaintaining month end files and year end files for audit;Calculate and reconcile VAT for the completion of returnsAssisting with implementation of projectsMonitor and ensure adherence to financial policies, systems / procedures and reporting standards, to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial information to management for effective decision-makingSupports Financial Manager in the analysis and control of performance measures where requiredEnsures that the financial year-end procedures and timetable are completed accurately and promptlySupports operations department by providing financial information on a regular, as well as ad hoc, basisAssist with completion of annual budget for costsCoaches and develops personnel within the Finance TeamSupervision of financial operationsPayroll Department (4 employees)Creditors Department (5 employees)Cash and Banking Department (3 employees)IT Department (1 employee)
