Position Administration Manager

Minimum

Key performance

Managerial controls:

(a)   Report hourly turnover figures when system is down.

(b)   File store admin documentation according to Company policy and procedure.

(c)   Control and monitor store expenses in conjunction with the Store Manager.

(d)   Order and control of sundry supplies in terms of Company policy and procedure.

(e)   Report any out of line expenses to the Store Manager 

 

Oversee Cash Controls

a)     Check till floats (daily) and store floats (weekly) balance.

(b)     Order change to meet store needs

(c)     Do cash pick ups according to Company policy and procedure.

(d)     Complete banking procedures on a daily basis according to Company policy and procedures.

(e)     Manage petty cash on a daily basis

(f)      Reimbursement of Agency Vouchers from Petty Cash.

(g)     Investigate under’s and over’s and take corrective action.

 

 

Control Voucher Management

(a)   Manage and control Gift Vouchers and Credit Notes.

 

 

Stock Control

(a)   Check all stock movement documentation in terms of policy and procedures.

(b)   Complete annual stock take procedure according to policy.

(c)   Complete weekly manual counts according to policy.

(d)   Investigate negative stock on hand in order to reduce the negatives.

(e)   Investigate and resolve non-scanning stock.

(f)    Investigate and resolve price discrepancies. 

 

 

Stockroom

(a) Manage stock room according to Admin policies and procedures

(b) Receiving of stock – unloading and stacking of cartons, confirm delivery complete(c) Unpacking and tagging

(d) Ensuring sample rail policy is being adhere to

(e) Ensure all returns and IBT’s are processed daily

(f) ensure sufficient supplies (swing tags, barcode labels, security tags etc)

 

 

Employee Administration and Management

(a)   Control store attendance register.

(b)   Organise and implement Induction and Orientation.

(c)   Prepare salary and wages data for Payroll.

(d)   Complete weekly rostering of permanents and part timers according to budget requirements.

(e)   Ordering and control of uniforms and badges.

(f)    Training of Administrative staff according to Job Descriptions.

(g)   Develop, motivate and lead all administrative function staff in the store, ensuring teamwork and a positive staff morale.

(h)   Manage admin staff performance consistently in order to meet optimal operating requirements.

(i)     Conduct staff appraisals in terms of company policy and procedures
